Why Every Review Here Carries a Date
Venues change. Reviews that pretend otherwise are worth very little.

A venue is a building, a staff and a set of policies, and only one of those three is stable.
I have photographed venues that were transformed by a single new catering manager, and venues that declined quietly after an ownership change nobody announced. A review written in 2018 about a venue's service is not a review of that venue today.
So every review on this site carries dates: when I worked there, how often, and when the review was last revisited. Where something may have changed since, it says so. Where a venue tells us something has changed, we publish their response alongside the review rather than quietly editing around it.
You are entitled to know how old an opinion is before you weigh it.
